At Critter Camp, we believe boarding should feel like a vacation—not a kennel stay.
With 30 spacious play yards, your dog gets plenty of room to run, play, splash, explore, and make new friends throughout the day. Every yard is designed with your dog's comfort and happiness in mind, featuring shade, fresh water, swimming pools, and lots of room to burn off energy. Several of our play yards even include agility equipment for dogs who love an extra challenge?
Because every dog is different, we carefully group our guests by size, age, breed, personality, and play style to create the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. If your dog prefers some quiet time or simply enjoys their own space, we’re happy to provide individual playtime as well.
Our day starts bright and early, with dogs heading outside around 7:00 a.m. On cooler days, they can enjoy the outdoors all day long until 5:00 p.m. During hotter weather, we bring everyone inside before temperatures become too warm, ensuring every dog stays safe and comfortable.
When it's time to relax, each guest has access to a spacious 28-foot indoor/outdoor suite connected by a doggy door, allowing them to move freely between the indoor and outdoor areas whenever they choose. Our indoor accommodations are fully climate-controlled, keeping dogs cool during the Texas summers and warm during the winter months.
At Critter Camp, we don't just watch dogs—we give them a place to play, socialize, exercise, and enjoy every day they're here. Many dogs are so excited to arrive that they can hardly wait to get through the front door!
