DON'T FORGET TO MAKE THOSE THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEAR'S RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE'VE BEEN TAKING THEM SINCE JUNE. GET THE RESERVATIONS IN EARLY TO BE SURE YOUR PET HAS A RESERVED SPOT.

''I looked around at all the suffering, homeless animals in the world.
I saw the abuse, neglect, and pain.
I looked up to Heaven and said, 'Why???
Why don't you do something to help all these animals?'
The reply came back, 'I did do something.
I CREATED YOU!!!'''

DON'T LEAVE IT UP TO OTHERS!
BE RESPONSIBLE!
If you don't like it that the City of Amarillo and neighboring townhas to euthanize thousands of pets every year, then DON'T CONTRIBUTE TO THE EVER-GROWING OVERPOPULATION PROBLEM IN OUR TOWN! Have all of your pets spayed or neutered. A "strictly indoor" pet can make that one-in-a-million dash for it. A male in a backyard will climb or jump fences and/or dig to get to a female in heat. A female in heat in your backyard attracts every male in the neighborhood, and, believe us, one of those ambitious young men will find his way into your yard. A spay/neuter will also improve the health of your pet by greatly decreasing the chances of some forms of cancer.
SAVE LIVES!
SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PET TODAY!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD . . .
Critter Camp recognizes you may wish to keep your pet(s) on the same diet while camping with us. We welcome you to bring your own food. The only thing we ask is that you place the food in a sealable container (i.e - tupperware, coffee can, etc.). We are trying to get away from bags of any kind. If you have a question about this, please don't hesitate to call or email us. Also, on the day you pick up your pet(s), any food containers and/or medication (excluding those which need refrigeration) will be on or around the shelves in the foyer as you come in the front door. Please be sure to take your property with you. If you don't see your container or medication in the foyer, please ask the office personnel who will gladly locate it for you. Any property which stays on the shelf will be disposed of or donated to Critter Haven Rescue Center after 30 days. Thank you for your cooperation.

PRICE UPDATE
Please be sure to view our Prices page for current prices on our services. We make changes in prices over time, so you may check our page to see these changes.

Whether you're bringing your pet for the first time or you've been here before, please be sure to request our handout entitled ''ABOUT YOUR PET'S STAY AT CRITTER CAMP.'' This handout explains our Wellness Petcare Program, what to expect when you get your pet home, canine cough, false canine cough, and giardia. Please call or email us, and we'll be glad to answer any questions you may have.

IMPORTANT - VACCINATIONS!!!!
To all clients and prospective clients - please understand that your vet's office stays very busy and may miss sending a ''vaccinations due'' reminder card to you in the mail. It's a good idea to check with them periodically to be sure all vaccinations on your pet(s) are up-to-date. When you go to have your dog vaccinated, make sure to specifically request your vet administer the Bordatella vaccination. Many vets don't do this vaccination unless you ask for it specifically. Even if you aren't planning on boarding in the near future, it would be a great help to have your vet's office fax us vaccination records the day you have your pet vaccinated. This will prevent last minute confusion and delay for those ''spur-of-the-moment'' camping trips.

HOLIDAYS AND TOURS
Critter Camp is committed to giving your pet(s) the best of care. During the week prior to, the week during, and the week after any major holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year), Critter Camp will NOT be giving tours at any time. All personnel will be needed in taking care of the very high volume of pets we have coming to stay with us for the holiday and going home afterward. For extensive information about our facility, please check out our web site at www.crittercamp.com. You may use our contact form to request a copy of our hand-out, ABOUT YOUR CANINE'S STAY AT CRITTER CAMP, which provides comprehensive information pertinent to your pet's stay with us. Thank you for your patience & understanding during the week of any holiday, major or minor.

Please come for a tour BEFORE you bring your pet in for its camping trip.

Please do not ask for a tour when you bring your pet in for any camping trip.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
